The Work

Every engagement with Alma follows the same architecture: we start with the Operating Culture Audit, which maps exactly where the gaps are. Then we go inside and build. Then we leave your team a system they own and run.

The depth and duration vary depending on where a company is, whether they are scaling past 50 people, navigating a post-Series A transition, absorbing a merger, or rebuilding after a restructuring. The direction is always the same: toward shared understanding and the infrastructure to hold it.

HOW IT WORKS

The Operating Culture Audit

DURATION

2 - 4 weeks

DELIVERABLE

Diagnostic findings & engagement recommendation

The Operating Culture Audit is a scoped engagement, typically two to four weeks, that maps where misalignment is quietly costing your organization. We go in, observe, interview, and diagnose. The deliverable is a clear picture of where the fault lines are and a specific recommendation for what to do about them.

For clients, the Audit does two things: it makes the invisible visible, and it gives both parties a grounded view of whether a deeper engagement makes sense.

This is the front door. You do not need to know exactly what you need.

You need to know something is getting lost.

WHERE WE START

THE CORE WORK

Embedded Cultural Build

DURATION

Multi-quarter

DELIVERABLE

Cultural operating system your team owns & runs

This is where the bridge gets built. Alma embeds inside your organization, attending your cadence, learning your real patterns, working inside the actual flow of the work. We build shared language, develop relational practices, and create the structural connections that let your people finally reach each other.

The output is not a report or a retreat. It is a cultural operating system: the shared vocabulary your team uses, the relational practices they run, the modules they have worked through, the operating cadence they own.

This is also where the one-to-one work, the team building, and the conflict resolution happen, the places where the language stops being a concept and becomes something your people actually use.

When the engagement ends, the bridge stays.

BUILDING INTERNAL CAPACITY

Internal Curriculum

DURATION

Defined by scope

DELIVERABLE

Curriculum, facilitator guides, practice cadence

For organizations ready to sustain the work without Alma in the room, we build an internal curriculum: a structured library of collaboration labs and relational practices that your own leaders and teams can run independently. This is not a cheaper alternative to embedded work. It is the next stage, graduation from embedded support into full organizational ownership.

The labs are built from Alma’s core modules and customized to the specific language and culture of your organization. The result is a repeatable program your people can integrate into onboarding, leadership development, and daily culture practices.

OPTIONAL

For the Leader in the Room

For founders and senior leaders navigating elevated complexity or transition, Alma offers one-to-one engagement: a trusted practitioner in the room for the conversations that cannot happen anywhere else. Offered selectively and positioned alongside the organizational work.

Wherever You Are in the Architecture, You Start in the Same Place.

The Operating Culture Audit is the start. Two to four weeks. Findings on paper. A specific recommendation for what to do next.
